About the Artist

Moniek de Rooy is based in Cape Town, South Africa and is a wife and mother of two very active boys. Moniek believes her personal ‘art style’ is constantly developing although her work is rooted in the ‘value of being whole’ with themes about God, family, environment, vitality. She is the youngest of 4 children and can remember always having loved painting as soon as she could hold a brush.
